Turn architecture into media. GlassArray brings buildings to life with subtle, dynamic imagery—daylight-visible, power-efficient, and seamlessly integrated into glass surfaces.

GlassArray

GlassArray is a high-speed, dimmable glass system that creates animations by varying the transparency of thousands of small “pixels” within a pane of any size. Based on proven PDLC liquid-crystal technology, our patented method allows each cell to fade independently, without cross-talk. Instead of emitting light, GlassArray blocks it selectively—producing striking daytime visuals and transforming glass into a dynamic, low-energy urban screen. It can clad building façades to animate them without the glare, garish colour, or expense of LED displays. Beyond large-scale art and signage, GlassArray offers practical benefits: adaptive privacy, switchable projection surfaces, bird-collision reduction, and dynamic shading. It can be integrated into new designs or retrofitted onto existing structures. The system is fast, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance, and it connects seamlessly to standard data protocols—from DMX lighting consoles to HDMI computer feeds—giving architects, designers, and developers a versatile tool for interactive and responsive environments.

“GlassArray is a revolutionary technology liberating the display of information from light pollution. We can imagine citites of the future where buildings can react to their surroundings and connect witn citizens without releasing massive amounts of light, with its environmental and health impacts. GlassArray is a rare thing, a tool that allows us to imagine future street landscapes and public spaces that we had not envisioned before, that are both sustainable, calm and humane."
